Not many of you should become teachers, my brothers, for you know that we who teach will be judged with greater strictness. For we all stumble in many ways. And if anyone does not stumble in what he says, he is a perfect man, able also to bridle his whole body.
Jesus did not die so that you could continue to live in bondage to shame.
He died that you might be set free from sin and shame.
But how do you overcome the gripping shame in your life?
As many young women do, I struggled and still find myself struggling with a lot of shame. This shame we carry can stem from many different sources: things we have done, things people have done to us or the shame we sometimes feel just for being a woman.
Hey people out there! It has been a while since I posted, the past month has just seemed like one thing after another thrown at me and I knew I needed to focus on the people directly surrounding me. This week getting back into the swing of things I thought I would share a little bit of my testimony/journey from a place of neediness to one of richness in Christ.
You can have all the money in the world and not have a beautiful life.
You can travel all the time and see new cities every week and not have a beautiful life.
You can volunteer all your time to charity or mission work and not have a beautiful life.
You can have millions of followers on social media and not have a beautiful life.
